Buffalo Shrimp

Buffalo Shrimp
Sad little lonely shrimp.  I will make you some friends.  Crunchy, tasty friends.


Raw shrimp were dusted in Mochiko (sweet rice flour), then beaten egg, then gf breadcrumbs.


Pan-fried in peanut oil after a 10-minute set to allow everything to come together.  When still hot, they were tossed in Frank's Hot Sauce and melted butter (classic "Buffalo" sauce).


Great by themselves, even better with the sauce.  I made way too much sauce.  What else can I do with it, other than sticking a straw in the jar?  I may have to buy some wings.

(This was our Super Bowl snack.)
