Twinning


Believe it or not, these healthy babies are Normande from the same mother - even though the female (above) looks like a Red Holstein.


The male has typical Normande patterning with a rugged square frame.  In cases of twins, the female is often born without reproductive organs, which means she may be raised for beef instead of entering the milking herd.

We have Normande purebreds and crosses to boost hardiness, increase milk components for cheesemaking, and supply beef at farmer's market.
