Second cut, in the bunk

We've finished the second cut of hay, 150 dump truck loads, compared with 120 loads for first cut. This was due to a "new seeding", a cornfield that was rotated into alfalfa this year and not ready to cut the first time around. Now we wait for a stretch of 3 sunny days to do the hay of our farmer friend who helped us get our feed in.

The bunker has again been covered in white plastic and old tires to keep everything preserved.
