Weekend Cook: Beef Ribs

Yes, you can make beef ribs indoors that look like they were done in the smoker...but it's not quite barbecue without the smoky flavor.

Beef ribs are coated in a 50/50 mixture of Union Foods Brand chili sauce and turbinado sugar.  They are placed in a 250f oven for 12-15 hours, until the meat easily pulls when twisted with a fork.

Around the 6-8 hour mark, these could have been foiled with beer to give them a steam - but this was an overnight cook and no one was awake to do it.

Moist pulled meat waiting to be incorporated into other dishes. I'm thinking chili rellenos!
