Bye, bye, piggies.


This week the trip over Jay to our meat processor, Brault's Custom, in Troy (VT) was uneventful, though we did get some good advice from them about purchasing a walk-in freezer.


We learned that while they are good for short term storage, in the long term product will fade in color due to the constantly circulating air.  Weird.  It is an issue we do not have using the chest freezers. More to think about, and the new freezer we ordered should be arriving soon.
