For the past three years we've needed to replace eight windows (one broken, several rotten) at the house. They were purchased exactly one year ago, but yada, yada, yada -- the contractor never got around to putting them in. He promised to install them for free when we pressured him in May - but really - he didn't want to put them in when he was being paid - so where's his incentive to do so now, if he doesn't get the second half of his fee?
Dan hired one of the contractor's workers to do the job with him, but has been doing the major muscle-work himself. I had to clean up that broken glass in the living room, by the way.
They pinned up the window because it was raining, and will finish the job - they assure me - next week.
