We had a genuine downpour for the start of the third market of the season, with thunderclaps, to boot. After a few hours, it warmed and the crowds came out to enjoy the day. The face-painter was especially busy, and little monsters decorated like the one at the end of the slideshow were everywhere.
Dan absolutely had to have a photo of this parrot. Really, the only thing we don't have at market yet is people dressed up like celebrities and charging you $10 to take a photo with them. And I would totally have my picture taken with any celebrity zombie - or Miss Piggy. Because Miss Piggy is still awesome.

Fresh produce, fruit trees, tacos al pastor (pork tacos), sauce for pirates or made from pirates or by pirates - whatever! Catnip, teas, seedlings, and really beautiful things - so many reasons to go to the Burlington Farmers' market this week.
