Project Sunflower: Making Oil on The Farm

Terry Zigmund of Burlington Community Glass Studio
I'm officially giving this value-added endeavor a name (Project Sunflower) so searches will find it.

Old tie-stall dairy barn
Ten hours in and the walls were roughed out, old ceiling insulation (sawdust!) removed, new Pink Panther insulation installed.

There's an existing room and an exit to the outside where I am standing (photo didn't come out) that will have an overhead door - because what's coming in, won't be going through this door.

The equipment is under contract and will arrive sometime in April, and we chose NuSun hybrid seed (dual-purpose for oil and birdfeed).  More to come!
