Over the mountain

Dan and I traveled over Jay Peak to Troy to pick up the frozen meat that we will start the 2010 farmer's market season with.

We brought every cooler we owned, and just barely managed to fit it all in our trailer: two steers, five pigs, three veal - all in handy serving-sized packages.


It took one hour to load, and two hours to unload (because we were sorting).
