Wheatless: Bunny Peeps Chocolate Cake

They are just so cute!

I followed the directions for this gluten-free chocolate cake, but not the size of the pan. I made two five-inch mini-layers instead of a nine-inch cake.


All decorated with Pillsbury frosting (gluten-free), Peeps (gluten-free), and a few mini M&M's (not sure about those) to fill the gaps. The cake was a bit dry but otherwise "cake"; next time I will probably make thinner layers so that the Nutella I used for the filling will give it more moisture. Or maybe I am just looking for excuses to eat more Nutella.


Without a doubt, the most fun cake I've ever made. Dan says the Peeps look like they are synchronized swimmers!
