Cows being milked
This is a view of the front section of the milking parlor. There are metal harnesses just like the ones used on modern roller coasters holding each cow in place. When the entire row is done milking, they all hinge up at once to let them go back into the barn - just like on a roller coaster when you get up to leave. As soon as my new video camera arrives, I'll be able to upload a video of the process. Notice the far left. When the weather is warm, air-filled curtains drop down to let air flow freely through the milking parlor. In winter, the curtains inflate and insulate the structure.
