Burlington Farmer's Market #14: Festival of Fools (again)

This week we were glad of our position on the breezy, shady side of the park.  Due to the festival there were busloads of tourists being let off or picked up during the morning.  I had a special mission, to get veggies and pickles for the "Chicken Day" burger bar tomorrow.  The wide variety of produce and products did not disappoint.

I think this is the first dog to ever give me stink-eye for taking his picture.  Too funny!

I'm eyeing up some of that fused glass jewelry; as soon as the weather turns cool, I start thinking about Christmas gifts and how pleasant it would be to be done with that particular task prior to Thanksgiving.

Here's an audio clip from our booth that day, which was about forty feet away from the source of the unbearable noise.

There is NO REASON, no reason on earth why entertainment HAS to be five feet away from our southernmost farmer's market vendors, while the entire other half of the park remains completely empty.  Those vendors had their booths completely blocked by onlookers during performances for two hours.

The fool festival can't entice a crowd to walk 80-feet away from the fountain with this kind of noise blaring?  Really?
