Oma means "Grandmother" in German, however, in English it has another meaning entirely, and not an appetizing one.
The first cheese I had was sublime, smooth, lactic, gooey. The second one I purchased was older, the rind was a bit thicker and tough to cut into, and the center was rubbery and harder to cut as well. It will be interesting to see how they progress, and it is certainly a cheese worth trying - I found it at Healthy Living.
