The wee black one is the free bird that we chose to be included in our Jumbo Cornish chick order from McMurray Hatchery. "Black", "Black and White", and "Big Girl" (all roosters) came to us this way. While all these chicks arrived at the same age and size, the Cornish (just feathering out on their wings) will continue to be larger than the little guy, who grows at a slower pace.
