The tiles were well and truly staying down. It took a lot of force with the saws-all to get it apart. We saved the overhead cabinets and installed them in the bar. Notice the outlets. The new backsplash will cover them, I didn't want any more appliances junking up the high-traffic counter, plus the stone cutters charge per hole on the solid stone backsplash we ordered.
