Last Sunday, I went into the Hannaford for something else, and found a package of chicken thighs for only $2.83!

I coated them with a super spicy rub called "Death Dust" so that they would have the heat and flavor to make a super chicken salad.

The asparagus was steaming in the foil for the 2 1/2 hours as the thighs cooked at 225f.

Okay, so the tomatoes aren't local, but that butter lettuce is. All I had to do was add mayonnaise and a pinch of salt for a yummy lunch. Gotta love those Sunday Manager's Specials from the Hannaford!
