Cheesemaking: Moulds
Cheese Moulds
These blue cheese moulds were made by Dan from PVC water pipe eleven years ago at a cost of $3 each. Each cylinder has holes drilled into the sides to allow the whey to drain, and are open at the top and bottom.
They have been temporarily set aside to make way for the seasonal cheeses that use another type of mould which can be stacked. Seasonal cheeses = twice as much work. And all that on top of income taxes.
