Wheatless: Bob's CC cookies

They look and taste like regular cookies, except for a certain sandy texture.



I followed the package directions; the completed dough looks like it will never hold together. An ice-cream scoop helped form the dough into uniform balls.


They are done when they spread out and crack.

You can see that there's no visual difference between this and any regular chocolate chip cookie. I ate a piece while the chocolate was still melty, just in case they were horrible and had to be fed to the chickens.

They weren't horrible, they were chewy and soft - there was a predominant flavor of brown sugar - I'm not the best person to do an objective taste-testing, since I'm not fond of sweets. These are all for Dan. He said he'd rather have dessert from the local diner.
