The next few days predict rain, so on Monday we hustled to get as much corn harvested as we could before the weather went against us.
The field was close by, so the dump trucks hit the driveway about every four minutes depositing their loads in the
horizontal bunker out back of the barns. 113 loads, 10 to 12 tons each - all done and over in a day. The majority of our crop land is outlying, as much as ten miles away, so the long hauls will come another day.
